Fishing Buddy Don House Posted February 2, 2010 Fishing Buddy Posted February 2, 2010 zeb pike [or the general] N36 37.859 W93 20.146 should put you close. I also found this info on a dive website.capt Don do you get more detail with the 800mhz? I want to get some shots of the bridge next time out,how cool would it be to have divers down there when you are scanning .I think you could still stay at a safe distance from the divers with the side scan. Yes I do on the 1197 model... The 800 Mhz is very detailed!! Thanks for the GPS marking I might get out this week and try to find it myself.. Also If I can would you mind If I use some of your shots to be placed on other web sites, you will get full credit on each picture.. There is about 5 of us Humminbird sponsored guys that are placing as many pictures as we can find on all the web sites we can. Also make sure you join the Yahoo Side Imaging Group, this is a great place with ton's of help and even the factory Engineers like to hang out and answer questions.. Doug V runs the site and is a very good friend and really good at this.. Next on Bass Boat Central there is another really good group as well, Doug also runs that one as well. We are looking at building a DVD on the use and setup of these units sometime this year we hope.. Maybe someday here soon before I start guiding you and I can get out and go to the old bridge and get some pictures, I have it marked really good. Keep posting shots these are really good!! Sam Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 redbud - That's a great picture of the Kimberling City bridges. It's real interesting to me to see water I know so well - without the water! It looks like the photographer was standing at about the current water level near the top of that bluff that the campground is on now. That's one of the steepest and deepest underwater bluffs I know, but I still didn't realize it was that big until I saw the 1958 picture. Great stuff! I've been visiting Tablerock diving websites, too, but I haven't been able to find GPS coordinates for popular dive sites yet. I've even sent an email to a diver who says he's compiled a list to share - but no answer yet. Where did you find the Zebulon Pike GPS numbers, please?

I had some questions for him in the past re: my lowly 700 series, and he was very helpful. - +1 with what Don said, you guys keep posting those screen shots; they are really great!
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted February 2, 2010 Fishing Buddy Posted February 2, 2010 Digging through all of my OLD S/D cards and found this one.. It is a Side Imaging shot of a Big Spoonbill on Table Rock Lake last year on opening day you can see the white line which is the fish.. Now look at the shadow, you can see the spoon shaped Nose and V tail of the spoonbill... Good Fishing Everyone.. Don Capt. Flippin Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 When the sideimaging gets a more common place, it is a little scary what all might be found in the area lakes.

Really neat stuff for sure, so neat that the MO Water Patrol is using them now for search and recovery.. I have seen pictures of bodies, cars, safes, just about anything you can think of it can be found.. Also read that there is a lot of Insurance companies now using these to find insured stuff. There is a few in Florida that are looking for cars that were driven off the piers, sense the market crashed! They find them and then send the divers down and most still have the keys in them...
