Question On Winter Fishing Regs?

i am wanting to go down to Bennet next weekend and might try and see if i can get my nephew to go as well...thought about maybe camping for the sat night....question is....i know Fly Fishing is all ok but is normal tackle legal as well? like spinning rod jigs and so on...i would think so as long as there aint no power bait dough bait but want to make sure....he has fly fished in the past but im sure he dont have no waders or any flies or anything like that and thought he might be able to go with spinnin gear if i can get him to go

Spinning gear is perfectly acceptable during C&R. THe only thing you have to do is follow the regualtion what lure you can use.

I think it closes Monday Feb 8th. Spinning equipment is fine.

I'm pretty sure you can only use single hooks also. Like a rooster tail with a treble attached probably wouldn't be ok.

Zone one regulations apply during the winter c and r season. There is a sign right above the dam, on the east side, that spells out the zone one requirements. Good luck!
