Blue Ribbon Fly Shop Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Greetings! Fished BSD again yesterday but the exception on this day was the sporatic gull activity that exploded in more than one instance. I took this photo as we powered up. You may need to click on it for more detail. The lake temperature is dropping and the magic number of 42 degrees cannot be far off. Forecasts are grim for the first part of the week beginning today but will certainly accelerate the temp drop. Stay tuned for more shad kill activity here @ Bull Shoals Dam. Geaux Saints! Blue Ribbon Fly Shop Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 Thanks Larry Look at the previous post from Hotdawg. He said they came through twice that he saw. SIO3 Sure enough. It was crazy. As if there were a few lookout gulls that would send a cry then the rest of the lazy bunch of em would leave the wing wall perch and start the circle and dive routine. Then, abruptly, it subsided. This happened a handful of times. Larry Babin Blue Ribbon Fly Shop www.blueribbonflyfish.com
