Members Pflugradt Posted February 20, 2010 Members Posted February 20, 2010 Does anyone happen to have any GPS weigh points for the different parking areas around Hickory??? I have most of the other streams and such we plan to hit next week found them on google earth, but am having trouble finding exactly where to park and such to go fish Hickory in and around Neosho. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance. Just looking for coordinates to put into the get me there unit so I can find those places. Steve Check out my warm water flytying and flyfishing how to.
WoundedOne Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Take hwy 71 south to neosho then take 86 left at off ramp. Turn left and go a couple of miles to the first stoplight( Harmony St.) and turn left. Go to the next stoplight and turn left again, that is W. Coler St. Follow Coler to the next stoplight and keep going straight. After about 4 blocks you will be able to see railroad tracks and the park directly ahead. As you get to the park you will come to a low water bridge, you can park in the parking lot on the right before the bridge or the lot on the left after the bridge. You can fish up and down the bank in both directions. BTW, as you pass over the R.R. tracks you will notice a white rock road going north and south. If you decide to fish the handicap pier at the North end of the creek, you should take the gravel road north, you will have to go through 1 stop sign and then the road will lead back to Bus. Hwy 60. Turn right on the paved hwy. and go about 3/10th's of a mile where you will see a parking lot on the right side of the road just before the bridge. You can park there and fish that area too. directions courtesy of Buzz

ollie Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Depending on the weather I might or might not see you down there. Looks like rain all day tomorrow so who knows.
