hello everyone from the ozark nation. coming all the way from fort dodge iowa i will be making a short trip down to table rock this weekend. we have had one of the hardest winters ever here in iowa and where i currently live there is still snow on the ground and all lakes are still frozen. one could say i kinda have the itch that i just cant scratch. well im hoping to scratch that this weekend! i have saved my money up and got the boat all ready to go and am coming down for just this weekend only to hopefully get on some bass. me and my friend will be staying in the aunts creek area and this will be my 3rd time in the area so i am kinda getting to know it. does anyone have any tips on whats working up there. any info would be really appreciative as we only have all day sat. and a little over a half day sunday to fish. thank you so much to anyone that could help, im hoping this short trip will relieve my bass fever for a month or so until i can bass fish some up here in iowa.

Adam,

Looks like you guys picked a great weekend to come down weather wise. Three presentations for you; wiggle wart on steeper chunk rock banks and swings, 4" single tail grub around trees on swings and bluff ends, jerkbait in the same locations as the grub.

Good luck, have fun and don't catch all of Tim's Aunts creek fish.

Ron Shuffield put a serious dent in those fish during the FLW. The glory days of Aunt's Creek may be a thing of the past.

Welcome to Aunt's Creek. You already have great information from way better fisherman than I so I will just wish you good luck. If you look at some earlier posts there should be some serious hints to a couple of good kentucky spots.

If you see a tall pot bellied gray haired dude with a hot littlw wife in a white/red Skeeter being pushed with a 90 horse Yamaha....wave your hat and we will come say hello.

Not to highjack the thread.....but maybe instead of a OAF sticker or ribbon(someone mentioned pink last year) maybe we should have a special wave so we recognize each other. I guess we are all in Aunt's Creek anyway! :donwan:

Don't worry about any more coming into Aunt's Creek, Bill. I dropped a submerged sign down at the mouth of it advertising a free shad/crawfish buffet in the Kings River. They should be headed that way now. :P
