Members kkparks_3
I floated the King's last weekend about 8 miles down to the 62 bridge and the shuttle driver for the canoe rental said that the game & fish stocked something like 30,000 14" smallies near Marble. Have any of you guys heard this? I've never heard of fish that big being stocked. If it is true, I know where my next float trip will be. Thanks, Kevin

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 23, 2006 Root Admin Share Posted May 23, 2006 I doubt seriously if Ark would have anything to do with TR - that's MO's baby.
Members kkparks_3
I thought that sounded kind of ridiculous. Ridiculous in a fantasy that could never be true kind of way.
Wayne SW/MO
Don't buy anything from that guy! Did you put in at the Farm? How was the fishing? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members kkparks_3
I rented my canoe from Riverside and yes it was a some guy's farm where we put in for an eight mile float back down to the 62 bridge. I got this info from some guy they were calling Doc. The fishing was alright for as fast as we floated (I had the wife along and she gets a little impatient). I didn't get to get out and fish the riffles as much as I wanted to, but I managed to catch about a dozen. I floated over many nice fish that appeared to be 14-15 inches, but they were protecting beds so I left them alone. I was suprised to see so many fish still on the beds, I figured they were already done by this time. I was on Crooked Creek about a month ago and some were already on the beds. Ham
Why would they stock the KR ? There are PLENTY of them ole brown fish in there. They should stock water instead. It is often in short supply on the KR. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
