Hey all,

I've been "lurking" ;) around for a while now and thought I'd take part in your discussions. I've only been to the Rock a few times, as I do most of my bass fishing in my native Iowa here. I love coming down to TR, but I just don't get to do it as much as I'd like.

Well, some buddies and I are sick and tired of this Iowa weather, so we thought we'd drive on down next weekend and get some quality fishing in. We're thinking about taking part in the AIA tournament on Sunday. Will any of you be partaking in it as well?

I've done most my Table Rock fishing around the Dam and Indian Point area. My buddy's folks have a resort on Indian Point, so we usually stay in that general area. I haven't seen much talk about that area recently, as it looks like many of you do a lot of fishing up the James and White, so maybe we'll have to check those areas out next weekend.

Well, I just wanted to introduce myself. You all have a great community here, and I'm glad that I can be a part of it now. Thank you for all the great info that many of you post with regards to Table Rock, and just fishing in general. I know that there are many like me that appreciate the information, and enjoy reading up on table rock (even if we don't get to visit much)

Good luck to you on the lake the next week and a half, and maybe I'll see some of you at Ahoys.

+1! ;) Welcome aboard EP. I'm sure they'll be a few OAF guys at the AIA. I was going to try and catch up with a few of them and say hello last time I was down during the AIA; but circumstances on my end prohibited it.

Welcome indeed, EP. By the way, if you're looking for a fishing spot somewhat close to Kimberling City, I hear they're chomping in Aunt's Creek.

Yea I've seen some mention of Aunt's Creek lately ;) What I'd really like to know is how exactly should I fish on Sunday, March 28th from 7am - 3pm. You know....rod, reel, line, lure, retrieve rate, color, depth, cover, location. Just your normal "stuff" that won't give away "all" your secrets :D

And also.....your weather forecast :)

On a serious note....I am looking forward to coming down, and thank you for the welcoming comments. My buddy and I will be in his Blue and White Nitro Z-7 on Sunday at the AIA.

We just came back from Aunt's Creek. Apparently the secret is out! Lots of little ones for us. It was slow for me and I must not be near as skilled as you guys as we were no where near 50-100 fish. We were probably in teens or maybe barely into twenty fish. Most were caught on a (drum roll please) Eakins jig with green Yamamoto trailer. I did manage to view four girls in two piece swim suits and two jet skis.

Water temps were 49.2 up by Piney and a smidge cooler around Aunt's Creek. I saw a lot of boats around Piney. I hate to say this on the forum, but we did better on main lake points around Aunt's.

I hear there are schools of huge whites down by the dam that will eat anything! (worth a try anyway!)
