So who do I contact to get one of the magnetic bumper stickers? What is the price on them? Do u ship em or could I stop by Fin and Feather or something to pick it up?

On another note, I'm in on whatever you guys decide, whether its ribbon, polyester material, whatever. Just somebody take the lead and make a solid decision and lets do it!

Not that I'm that hard to mistake, the young guy puttsin around in his green 14 foot flatbottom, while standin up bass fishing with the trolling motor on the back!!! Gotta start somewhere right?!!

Thanks guys!

Maybe someone's already had this idea, how would everybody like to have an OzarkAnglers tourney sometime? Only publicize it on Ozark Anglers, for example in the Bull Shoals or Tablerock or Stockton section. Or maybe have 3 of them for all 3 lakes... Have some of the more well known guys decide on a date and ramp location, and keep it simple and friendly. We can let each other know here on the forum if you are coming out for it. Just everybody show up, keep it small and affordable, not something to make money on...Possibly $25 if you want in, with an optional $10 big bass. And just pay out to approximately 20% of the people show up.....

The important thing to remember, it doesn't have to be a big stressful ordeal...Just a fun way of everyone coming out and meeting everybody, and like I said, only publicize it here on OA so that all participants are members...Who knows, maybe 7 or 8 guys come out, maybe it'd be closer to 50 I don't know. And have one of the well known, well respected guys hold onto the cash for the weigh in. It'd be fun and simple, while still offering some fun competition!

Id be up for that, nothing else to meet everyone. Not like I could hold a candle to some of the boys on here. But there would be a lot to putting it together, Id help for anything needed.

Back on subject, Anyone decide on what we need to do to identify each other and Ill follow suit.

Ps... I for one know I would like to take part in it, even though I know I would have a good chance at getting smoked by you guys... Me and my 9.9 hp.. I'd still have a good time coming out and being part of an informal "formal" event with you all... Another option, if nobody would want to throw in $25, maybe have just a big bass competition, then even the smaller boats could have a real chance. Just throw in the $10 and everyone brings in their biggest fish of the day and pay out for 2 spots for the big bass...

Semi-related thought and question for Phil:

Do you have the Ozark Anglers fish on a stringer logo in jpeg format?

Would you be willing to share it?

If so, I would pay to have it turned into a boat decal and would put it on my boat. Once I do, I'm sure the repeat cost for others would be relatively low.

BTW, who does anyone recommend for boat decals?

I like the ideas presented here. a Table Rock get together for a little fishin and a no frills bar b-q would be nice.

Creating an identifying article to present on our boats is a good idea also, for lots of different reasons. I don't need to name them as I'm sure several will come to mind not the least of which is safety if we just think about it for a minute. My next idea is probably not gonna go over too good but I'll throw it out and see what sticks.

We could use a bright florescent flag with a suction cup to stick on the outboard or the windshield. Here's the kicker, in an effort to demonstrate how we feel as competent boaters using a public resource how about developing a fairly simple etiquette and safety questionnaire. Those who fill it out appropriately get the flag and will carry the message that we as a group hold a few basic principles strongly when it comes to boating and ramp behavior and courtesy.

I'm not suggesting a college exam or a test grading procedure that takes a security clearance but a simple written exercise that will demonstrate a brief acknowledgment at the least of some valuable concepts that will foster good experiences when observed.

OK, I'll back away from the keyboard for a while. I'm just sayin....... it's been a long winter.

-I've used http://www.iguanagrafix.com/ in the past. They're board sponmsors over on BBC. Darryl is quick to respond, and a great guy to deal with.

I contacted him a while back about OAF stickers, and he just said he would need a jpg file to get pricing together. I thought about trying to organize something, but the reality of my homelife, with 2 toddlers and a full time job quickly came to my attention; that I do not have time for one more thing right now.

Someone mentioned a ribbon not lasting on the trolling motor. I would think as long as it's securely attached/wrapped and not flopping around, it would hold up. And I concur, in the long run, when the ribbon idea gains traction, it would need to have some UV protective properties to it. ;)

Just an idea.......I've seen tournaments that require those who participate to use a neoprene band that goes around the motor cowling for tournament identification. Not sure what they are called or where to buy. I tried to google it and find a photo, but had no luck finding one. They're about 3-4" wide and are usually fluorescent yellow or orange. They're visible for some distance. Like I said, just an idea.

I don't have that much, really. A few feet on a couple different rolls of vinyl tape/ribbon used on property markers, construction stuff. It's cheap, and available at Lowes,Home depot, etc. I'll use the orange.

If it wears out,it's cheap to replace.

If you know a construction worker, you can probably bum a few feet from them.
