CaptainJoe Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Water Temp: 47-49 Air Temp: 59-81 Wind: SSW 15-20 w/25 mph gusts Water: Clear This pattern is still working. Swimming a 5" Salt/Pepper or Smoke Grub on a 1/4 oz. Darter Jig Head through the trees on channel swings in the Dam Area. Give it a 10-count and S-L-O-W-L-Y reel it in. Fish are hitting the jig around the 20' depth. Today was the first time that a largemouth hit the bait. Loved the weather. The sun felt so good and it also felt good to fish without 10 pounds of winter clothes surrounding me. Members jfly Posted April 1, 2010 Members Posted April 1, 2010 I caught this giant on Friday doing the same thing. Too bad she didn't bite for me on Sunday instead.

Members jfly Posted April 1, 2010 Members Posted April 1, 2010 I just took the scale out of my boat about 3 weeks ago because I never use it. I always use a culling beam in tourneys. I thought I would remove a bunch of unused clutter from my boat. Doh! I know she was alot bigger than the 7.35 that Brad Butler brought to the scales on Sunday. I would say around 8 1/2 lbs. And I can tell you she was released right after that photo was taken.

Jason Essary Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 We need to make a big sign to put in aunts creek. No fishing allowed, by order of Techno. Caught 4 last night near Indian Point on grubs, shallower than I expected. Dennise, your spot is amazing right now also...
