Come on you can say what general part of the lake you were in. I need the help. Im going down to fish the KC area this week, and I don't feel very confident. But I was going to give that fish dr. a work out.

Fished KC area Saturday from 1 PM-5PM and Sunday from 10:30 AM-1 PM.

Saturday had about 25 total, 3 keepers (1 smallie and 2 K's)

1 of the keepers and 15 of the total came off of the shady side of an 8 slip isolated dock that ran out into 35'.

Went back to same dock about noon today and first cast to the deep end of dock netted this 5.1 beauty! (sorry pic is so bad!)

Caught 10 or 12 more, all shorts, off same dock and then called it quits.

All my fish were on a 4' smoke w/red flake grub on 6 lb line.

Like gitnby said, work those big docks along with the other reports coming in; you'll be fine. :goodjob:

One thing too drs, make sure you're throwing fluorocarbon(preferably) or mono in the 8 pound test range. Maybe even 6 if you feel up to it. I see a lot of guys fish The Rock when I'm down and complain about not being able to catch fish; and see them throwing 15+ pound line. The Rock is a different animal, the waters nice and clear; and dems fish is super crafty!

Spot on. Using 8# floro is the deal for rigs up to 3/8oz or so, 6# for the grub and shakey makes a huge difference. So does using smaller worms than the crowd. Just have to learn you reel and let those brown fish pull. Blacks will just wear out.
