bobber
it was too low for a good float. but not so low you couldn't catch fish. got rained on 4 times .. strong gusty winds made it good to re-fish a spot,as the wind would blow me back up stream without paddling dark sky most of the day. but managed to land more than my share of good sized fish ,for that far up river..with one fish ,that was as big as my canoe paddle blade.. made the old ultralight sing!! stripping drag. I'm still smiling about that one!!all in all caught about 20 fish in 4 1/2 hours. <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*

eric1978
Hey bobber, thanks for the tips on the G-Flex. I picked some up a while back and fixed up the ol' canoe. Haven't had it on the river yet, but I can tell that's some good stuff...tough as nails. Probably stronger now than it was out of the factory. Didn't mean to hijack your thread...carry on. Zack Hoyt
I would be up for either. A day trip might be a bit easier. Definately gonna use the drift boat. Awful funny to watch peoples expression when you row by. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions

Zack Hoyt
You mean this expression? That's what jealousy looks like. Its the same expression I get when after they tell me there are no trout in this water, I tell them I hope not, I am fishing for bass.
