Hotdawg Guide Service Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Greetings everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I haven't had anytime off and am fishing the White and the lake sometimes both in one day!!Well today was one of those days when didn't matter what we used we caught fish on it!! We used stickbaits, Lucky Krafts, Spittin Image, Pop-r, Silver Sonars, Cicadids, Spoons, gitzits, Hula grubs, lizards, and nightcrawlers! We caught fish on them all and from 4 feet all the way out to 36 feet on the nightcrawlers. The morning was better before the wind switched to the Northwest. Water temps ranged from 71 degrees in the backs of the creeks to 62 on the main Lkae. Lots of patterns working so just get out and have some fun!! Lake level is 677.09 and falling slowly.GOD Bless and good luck Hotdawg!!! Hot Dawg Guide Service
Ham Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Only seven species? I'd bet you could get 10 species with a little luck. It does seem like a lot of stuff is working right now and most all of the fish are fairly shallow and biting. Hope the clients were happy. Sounds like you put them on the fish. Members raise the motor Posted May 9, 2010 Members Posted May 9, 2010 This is becoming an amazing year at Bull Shoals. It will be interesting to see what the next few years will be like. I am looking forward to learning how to catch all those species. What do you think will be the most outstanding fish in the years to come. I would be interested in knowing what all the BS regulars think of the current fishing and what they expect. Will a lot of big fish records be broken by local anglers?
