Bluegill?

It is a great little scrappy fighter in the sunfish family. They are found in lakes and creeks all over the midwest. Some just call them gills. I am not sure if it is because it is cool or they are just too lazy to pronounce the first syllable.

Trout come up as far as 160, but it is probably too skinny this year. There is good access for a good length above the highway on the west side.

Are there many other creeks in the Branson area that would hold trout in the winter months?

And I've caught them in Beaver Creek during winter months. Dont forget Crane Creek and Roaring River
