Chief Grey Bear Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Bluegill? It is a great little scrappy fighter in the sunfish family. They are found in lakes and creeks all over the midwest. Some just call them gills. I am not sure if it is because it is cool or they are just too lazy to pronounce the first syllable. Ha! Just messing. Wayne SW/MO Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Trout come up as far as 160, but it is probably too skinny this year. There is good access for a good length above the highway on the west side. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
