Will be at Table Rock June the 16th and would love to take my kids Bluegill fishing, would love any help. Will be in the Kimberling City area. Thanks

Gravel points... 10-15 feet of water... drop a cricket or night crawler straight down to the bottom and crank it up one turn. Move around some on the point. If one point doesn't work, move to another. Point 5 is a great point.

I use my trout rig- 4 lb line, small split shot and #8 hook.

Oh yea- takes lots of pics and report back. Love to see some nice big blue gills!

Ice jigs tipped with wax worms under a spring loaded pencil float, no weight.

The jig will sink slowly, and the float will lay flat on the water. When that float stands up, a fish has taken the bait so set the hook.

Been a killer technique in the northwoods (WI) for years.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

Crickets worked great last Sunday at a local lake, we caught a nice mess of Redear, a few Bluegills and one Channel Cat. Heading back tomorrow if the weather holds out.
