Members Gene Posted June 19, 2010 Members Posted June 19, 2010 The closest ramp is Cooper's, trailer parking at marina. Come on down and see the monsters already showing up.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 20, 2010 Root Admin Posted June 20, 2010 Thanks for the update, Gene. But still... I'm not sure the blue doors will grow enough The dock, though, is amazingly constructed- one of the sturdiest I've seen. The company that owns Fall Creek has spent a ton of money on both bank stabilization projects as well as the dock, that's for sure.
Thom Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Gene: I am glad to hear that the same staff will be back. You guys were great and I will be looking forward to stopping in when you open. With Phil's dock and now Fall creek we have great quality docks at Taney that offer great friendly customer service and provision second to none. Thom Thom Harvengt

Members Gene Posted July 1, 2010 Members Posted July 1, 2010 THANKS, JUST GOT THE COFFEE POT YESTERDAY, STOP BY WE ARE BREAKING IT IN.
Members ribtips Posted July 1, 2010 Members Posted July 1, 2010 The ramp was poured short so you can't back a trailer in without backing it off the edge. (snip) Tell me about it. We drove our boat to fish the upper lake 4 years ago from Rockaway. A massive storm (spun off of a hurricane on the gulf) blew in and we took refuge at the Fall Creek marina. We had to leave the boat overnight and pulled the boat out the next morning from that ramp. I probably burned up 20,000 miles worth of tread on my back tires getting that sucker out. At least now I know it wasn't because of my incompetence...
