I had to video this guy. He needed some instruction on how to shuffle - well at least manage his line, as we fly fishermen say.

Maybe this is stupid but by that do you mean kicking up the bottom to attract fish? Last time I was there, I kept having fish following my feet so close that I accidently kicked them a couple time. Eventually I realized they were picking up the bugs I kicked up when I walked. One dumb but nice sized rainbow even got caught in my net for a second.

I truly feel for you "long rod" guys up there. It seems like if they aren't cranking the generators making fishing difficult, it turns into a trout park!

I've always said it's a scene befitting Branson :D. No offense to the guys living down there, but it can be a zoo at times.

In Arkansas for instance, it's illegal to disturb the stream bottom for the purpose of attracting fish to catch.

I think I have that right.

My guess would be that law is in place to protect the redds. No?
