Trout Commander Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I think you were misinformed. From the MDC website: Trout Fishing Missouri has several types of trout fishing areas, each with its own special rules. In addition to a fishing permit, you will need a trout permit to possess trout on all waters outside of the trout parks and a daily tag while fishing in the trout parks. Unless otherwise indicated, the season is open all year. ■ What if the agent comes up when you have a fish on the end of your line or in your hand taking a picture or even releasing it? Is that not possession? Is possession defined as being on a stringer? I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. Outside Bend Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 What if the agent comes up when you have a fish on the end of your line or in your hand taking a picture or even releasing it? Is that not possession? Is possession defined as being on a stringer? I believe "possession," is the same as "creeled." If you intend on taking the fish home, it's within your possession. <{{{><
Trout Commander Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Creeled. There we go. Why didn't they just say so? I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
