bikehikefish Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I've met John and found him to be a nice guy, even to a city dude like me. He even gave me ride up the hill once! But he has had problems with vandalism and trespassing, so I don't blame him a bit for being impatient with people that can't read the signs. Now for the fishing...we fished it on 7/2 and it was kind of tough. I caught a few in the hole just below where the trail goes to the river, and one down at the next bend. Everyone else I saw that day had been skunked. All rainbows - what happened to the browns? Last couple years the larger browns have been scarce, for me, anyway.
Members BLUEWATER Posted July 14, 2010 Members Posted July 14, 2010 I dont know why your saying that about John and Sharen. I fish that part of the stream often and they both are always nice to me. I can only guess that you may have had a run-in there with them or that you belive what someone else told you about them. Then again, I too am a local properity owner as they and sometimes we dont take well to city folks and there actions.I'm not realy sure why one would be tresspassing on there properity anyway. The road goes right down too the field and on out to the river. Its a very good hole right there. The fish are in the water... not in the woods, why would I be in the woods? Maybe a minor correction, but, to prevent confusion as to the location, the signs say John and Betty.
