He was on the news. He said they were getting ready to quit when he hooked it and said he fought it about 30 minutes. He didn't elaborate any further.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

...looking to kick some (arse), woops did I SPELL THAT WRONG.

Some people get really mouthy when they can hide behind their key board.

Nope, Spelled arse correctly. But you did misspell whoops.

You should listen to your own words of wisdom about hiding behind a keyboard.

I wonder if they were totally naked or if they had g-strings and pasties.

Flytyer57 All I can say is you are a total JERK!!!!!!!!

OK guy's. I have fished with both of you and I respect both of you. I think we have a misunderstanding here. Flytyer was, imho, just adding a little light hearted humor on a typo. I don't think he really meant anything by it. I also understand that you Slider are a man of deep faith and understand that you may not see the humor in that type of response. I can understand and appriciate that.

But before this thing gets too carried away, as it looks like it is, let's rethink this. We may be from different backgrounds and beliefs but let's not let that come between us on an issue as small as this.

Trust me, I've been on internet fishing boards for a long time, and about 50% of the posters spell it "stripper" when they are talking about stripers...and every time somebody makes a joke about it. And most of the time the jokes are still funny, which says something about me, I guess.

As for the spelling bee, no. I reread every post I write and try to make sure everything is spelled correctly and sounds like I'm making sense. Even if what I have to say is non-sense.

As for my fishing? I wish I was better at it. You'd think I'd get out more now that I'm not working but I just can't get up the desire to go. Maybe if I was to plan a fishing trip with someone, I could get more in the mood for it. I'm doing a float next Monday with "gotmuddy" and I'm looking forward to going. Maybe I'm just getting tired of fishing alone.

I'm always looking for someone to fish with so if you ever need somone to partner up with, let me know.

I don't hide either. Anybody that would want me to go fishing with them I'd go. I've already met several people from this forum and I'd like to meet more of ya.

As for the fly tying, I can tie up some pretty good flies. I'm no expert, but I do pretty good. I'm still learning, but that's an everyday thing.

As for the beer drinking, I'm from Milwaukee. The (once famous) beer capital of the world. That changed when they couldn't produce enough for me to drink and several breweries went out of business.
