Members jason v Posted July 29, 2010 Members Posted July 29, 2010 I agree catch and release on the small mouth. Bringing digital camera for the smallies and the filet knife for the goggle eye!!
jdmidwest Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 There are management areas for Goggle Eye too, 8" minimum on streams like 11pt, Little Piney, and others. I think Jack's Fork may be one of them also, need to check the regs. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Members jason v Posted August 6, 2010 Members Posted August 6, 2010 Just retuned from Jacks Fork for 4 days and had a great time with the family> We floated sundy on a raft from Alley to Eminence. It was very crowded didn't get a chance to fish just enjoyed the scenry and water with the kids. Woke up Monday and spent the day at Rocky Falls creek swimming I would put this place up as one of the best swimming holes in the state. It was wonderful floating around on the raft in the water. Tuesday moring finally got up early and did some wade fishing before it got crowded and caught five smallies ranging between 13 and 15 inches.Tuesday afternoon went walking up river and fought the floaters and caught a nice 15 to 18 inch smallie and picked up a few more wed. morning. I caught all them on 1/8 stand up jig head and chompers garlic/watermelon color
