Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 28, 2006 Root Admin Posted June 28, 2006 Dead chicken is a huge griffith's gnat used on the San Juan to imitate a midge cluster.
jOrOb Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Ok, time to put up I guess. I will have them to you by Aug 1. Also, I would like to ask if everyone would mind to include a recipe which we could post. We wouldn't have to send it with every fly, but I thougt maybe Phil could create a section for recipes from the swap, and then everyone could post them online. The last swap I did, I got a couple of flies that worked well. Unfortunately, I lost them before I could reproduce them. jOrOb "The Lord has blessed us all today... duckydoty Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Hey guys, Just a few suggestions to make it a little easier on the swap miester 1. Send in all flies with toe tags on each hook stating the tiers name and name of the fly 2. Also send a self addressed return envelope with postage already paid/stamps attached 3. Pack fles in a crush proof box such as an altoids can, your new selection can be returned to you in the same box Duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Steve Smith Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Just remember that you're getting at least one or two hackled flys that won't fair too well in a plain envelope. Box or can would be best. ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
Danoinark Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Hey swapmeister John. So we tie 15 or 16 flys. It's always one more than the number of people right? Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
