eric1978 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 That is a nice fish! Unfortunately you'd have to be King Kong to make that a 5 pounder. Weight doesn't really matter to me though.
KCRIVERRAT Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 The one up here in Independence. It's closest to me... OH! You said WHO? Seriously, I miss the old fishing shows. Pioneers like Harold Ensley (Sportsman's Friend) and Virgil Ward (Championship Fishing). If I hadn't of mentioned Virgil a certain somebody on this forum would've tomahawk punched me... As far as todays shows, I enjoy Hank Parker's "aw' shucks" demeaner. He might not do as much teaching as a Van Dam or Rick Clunn per se, but his shows to me are enjoyable and I like the way he involves his family... fishing or hunting. 405z06 Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Stacy King seems to be a genuine and good person. Denny Brauer & Hank Parker the same.
Members Tearin Up Topwater Posted July 19, 2010 Members Posted July 19, 2010 I like Jimmy and Roland for comic relief. KVD is just a machine. Hank Parker and Shaw Grigsby are like the same person and they annoy me for some reason. You gotta love Bill Dance. But seriously, how many >5lb fish can an old man catch? Have you ever noticed he never catches anything under 5lbs? I'm pretty sure he goes to only private lakes stocked with only freakish, monster bass. And I don't think it matters what lures or fish spray attractant he's promoting that day, he's gonna catch fish. I'd like to see him catch these same quality fish at Table Rock?
