Thanks for the compliments guys. Now I am trying to build a comfortable light-weight wood seat. I do have some closed-cell-foam I could incorporate into it also.

post-4098-12827900321212_thumb.jpgI used 1/4'' slats to give it some flex.

post-4098-12827900903111_thumb.jpgI plan on slats for the back, but it in the developmental stage now.

It still feels a little hard on the tail bone.

I didn't see any mistakes. If they are there, they are unforseen without knowing what to look for.

I still like what you made. Keep up the good work!!

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

Very, very nice work. It's beautiful man. I want your shop!

I think 65 pounds is very reasonable for a tandem kayak...the problem I'd have is taking the thing on the water lest that nice finish gets scratched.

The finish looks real nice. Is it just the pics or does it have a bit of a reverse rocker ?

You win the door prize, it was to late when I descovered the screw up. The plywood was glued down to the frames.

Like I said it is a learning process. I guess if I thought it was perfect I wouldn't want to put it on the ozark streams and bump it on some rocks.
