ness Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Sadly, there's nothing in my vice right now. It's packed away and hasn't seen the light of day for months. The good news is that the myriad of other things going on, and the clutter they have produced in my tying area, have slowed down. The table has been cleaned off, somewhat, in anticipation of fall fishing. There will likely be a mohair leech in there first thing, because I know I'm low on those. (And just to the left will be the rod-building station with a Winston WT blank I've been sitting on for a while). John
Gavin Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Specks of dust, and dreams at the moment...I promised a fellow some flies for an auction in October so I'll have to get to tying soon. Cheers.
Members crawfly Posted August 30, 2010 Members Posted August 30, 2010 A Gamakatsu B10S sz. 4 hook with the lead eyes lashed awaiting further attention. Prolly become a Finnit. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Don't ask me. It's a secret fly. Only used in select locations. (don't ask that either!)
Outside Bend Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Some of today's work. I despise rainy days off. <{{{><
Leonard Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 hold on to your shorts BOYS... I just dropped off 10 dozen roo bugs (scuds) this morning at Phils.... When I got home I started setting up for my newest fly... A modified version of the PMS..... Called "Heavy Daze" For some silly reason my wife really hates that name.... this week in the vise... More roo bugs and midges for night fishing (10's and 12's) Pine squirrels, Hibernators, and PMS's (maybe even a few PMS jigs for high water) also my newest sculpin called the "mid-night munchie" and whatever else I can think of......
