duckydoty Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Started fishing around 8 p.m. tonight with 3 units running. The water just a little higher than I liked it again. Fishing started off kind of slow for me tonight. I lost a nice one right off the bat. It made a good run and broke me off and I had not even been fishing 10 minutes yet. Caught a couple of smaller bows and one little brown while the water was running on a yellow bead and a few on olive pine squirrel sculpins. The water was shut off about 10 p.m. so I went to the car, put up the chuck and duck rig, and grabbed the streamer rod. Headed up to the flats between outlets one and two and fished the falling water. Put 3 bows to hand then hit a nice one. 27 inch rainbow on a white mink conehead....Nice! Fishing got slow again for a while then started hitting browns on a flashy black conehead just before the storm hit. Picked up four or five nice browns and a half dozen bows then had to run to the car for fear of drowning in the rain. It was a long drive home dodging branches and fallen trees. laker67 Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 You dog,you sure know how to rub it in. The thing that impresses me most, is the fact that you caught those fish on high water. I am about to get healed up enough to try it this coming weekend. Nice fish Duane.

Thom Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Started fishing around 8 p.m. tonight with 3 units running. The water just a little higher than I liked it again. I stopped by the dam around 8 to show my son the outlet fishing at night and saw you down at outlet one. We just stayed at the top of the steps and watched for a while. I couldnt believe that they were running three units and did that even Sunday. Actually 4 units Sunday We then went outlet 2 and talked to Leonard there for a while. He caught several 15+ ers while I was there for about a half hour. He then handed my son his fly rod and showed him how to fish the lighted rig. Tim caught a 15"er in about 5 minutes of trying. Thanks for sharing the pictures and photos. Thom Thom Harvengt

Thom Was not me at outlet one. I was down below outlet 2 fishing the bank with Phil Lilley. When I went up to the flats I saw those 2 up at one. They fished there all night.
