Tfsh4bass Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Good ones. Always fun when they smash that blade up shallow. Go figure...the high sky day with a north wind they are on the bank crushing stuff That one I caught was the skinniest fish I have caught this Fall...he was a 16" toothpick
Champ188 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I've caught quite a few skinny LM's up the river this fall and other years. They always seem to fatten up by winter, though. Of course, the ones in Aunt's Creek stay fat year-round. I'm guessing there's gonna be a bunch of boats in there Sunday for the AIA derby. I hear they've really been biting in there.
denjac Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Guess I will have to run out of the Indians this weekend . There are"nt any fish left in them. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. tapout Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Finally made it down to T-Rock on Friday from 11am till 1:30 pm. For what it's worth (not much) here's a summary of my day. Water 62 degrees, wind out of north at 15mph, and sunny. Tried spooning docks and nothing. Wiggle wart, nothing. Spinnerbait, third cast, one keeper LM in about 3 feet of water on a ledge/chunk rock bank. Stayed with the blade, tried deeper, faster, slower, and nothing, I had numerous bass follow it to the boat when I was shallow but no committment. I tried killing it, popping it, ripping it, and no deal. I didn't try anything really slow. Maybe in a whole day I could of figured em out but left just glad I got to go. I hadn't been since August. Boat had water pressure issues so it shortened my day. Good luck in your tournies this weekend. I'd like to thank my FUTURE sponsers: Falcon Rods, Jewel Bait Co, and Seagar

Techo must have left the country. Otherwise I think he'd have something to say about your group invite to invade the Aunt's Creek sanctuary. Shame, shame. Larry Eby Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 "3 feet of water on a ledge/chunk rock bank" Run up a major creek arm, find the same banks with blow overs, chuck a blade. If the blade bite dies, pitch a jig along the same bank, into every cranny you can find.

Shame, shame. Plenty of room in A-creek esp along that channel side with all those chunk rock way up in there.
