Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 8, 2010 Root Admin Posted November 8, 2010 I'm looking for good sites, fishing but necessarily fishing, for ideas. I'm looking for: Good looking- eye catching. Easy navigation - easy to find stuff. Creative ways to link to blogs, personal sites. Host personal pages for members. Creative advertising format, not gaudy. Any other new and upcoming gadgets. Thanks.
techo Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 OAF is my favorite. A non-fishing one that has good links to pages and blogs is a running one at http://www.runnersworld.com/community/forums/ I think it is a good example. Kind of a large one though. www.bodybuilding.com has great links to your page and your blogs. Tim Carpenter
Gilly Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Not a fishing site but one that I enjoy...... http://www.amazingribs.com/index.html www.drydock516.com

cnr Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Are you looking for website ideas? I am a website creative director and may be able to help you out. I really think OAF is a great resource and if I can give back to you a little that would be great. The service you provide to us anglers is really valuable and much appreciated.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 26, 2010 Author Root Admin Posted November 26, 2010 cnr- yea... I get restless every 3 or 4 years. I'd like to expand the site--I already have alot of new material I'm holding for a new site. Winter time is a good time for me to work on it. I am working with a local outfit on ideas but I'm not locked it yet. Taking my time- want to do this right. Thanks
Quillback Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 bassresource.com is a site you might want to look at.
Bill B. Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 My favorite fishing-related sites (besided this one) include: www.crappie.com www.texasfishingforum.com www.bassresource.com www.ultimatebass.com www.paddling.net www.walleyecentral.com www.tackletour.com
DChance Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 www.thebassholes.com www.bassboattalk.com www.bassboatcentral.com www.bassresource.com
Norm M Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 www.illinoissmallmouthalliance.net They just added ways to connect with the social websites, you might be interested in that. I know I'm not but there seem to be many that are. what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
