Chief Grey Bear Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I see just fine. I am not in any way trying to speak for the state as a whole. I can only comment areas that I grew up in and compare them to now. Al Agnew Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 If you want to see snakes, just take somebody along with you that has a snake phobia! I took my brother-in-law who is deathly afraid of snakes on a float trip one time and we (he) must have seen a hundred of them...simply because about all he did all day was look for them. I haven't noticed any shortage of water snakes along the rivers, and in the last few years I've seen more cottonmouths than I'd seen in the entire 40 years or so before.
Gary Lange Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Thanks Al! Now I am going to have to rethink purchasing a Canoe so I can float the Rivers. Don't like Snakes especially Cottonmouths that can be aggressive. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
