dennis boatman Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 We have had a date for New Years at Pointe Royale for months. It will be my first trip to Taney in 20 years. Yes, I know, I only live 90 minutes away, but this trout thing is new to me. May drop by for a visit, but will be with lots of family members and time will be limited. Not much to offer you, but maybe I can pick up a few tips. Hoping for good weather A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Hopper Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I do believe I will be attending this year. Gregg The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing.

Wheatenheimer Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Looks like I'm not going to make it this year after all. The boss is wanting to go somewhere to play in the snow. Bummer!
Trout Commander Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 The boss is wanting to go somewhere to play in the snow. Bummer! Tell her to pack extra layers since you won't be there to keep her warm. See you on the first I'll supply brats (and buns and mustard and ketchup) for someone to cook on their grill if one will be present. It's just not feasible for me to bring mine. How many brats do you guys think we would need? I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack

fly2fish Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I had every intention to make it this year depending on what bowl game OState was going to. As it turns out I will be in San Antonio that whole week and not coming back until the 1st. Hope everyone has a MERRY FISHING CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HUNTING NEW YEAR. F2F
