Help With Vintage Cameras

I put this here since it gets the most traffic.

I have some old cameras I want to know about.

Does anyone know a source where I can get these appraised?

Some are very old, the ones where you get under the black sheet to take the pics.

Not knowing where you are or what you have makes it hard to give advice... have you done internet research? My wife has done that with guns and bottles successfully.

If you know make and model you could do an internet search.

Otherwise take them to an antiques dealer.

Google "st. louis camera shops" and they might be able to help you.

Yes I googled them, really can't tell what they are really worth locally.

Thanks Gavin, I did that this morning and the vintage guy is off today.

It looks like cameras don't bring much money because they made so many. I really just want to get rid of them. If I get enough out of them for a new driver then that's all the better,

I'll let you know what happens in case someone else is headed down this road.
