Cool! Would you consider your method to be a mainstream method or an "unorthodox" one?

Definitely sure it's not mainstream. Just made do with what we had. Don't do it much anymore, just a couple times a year more for nostalgia than anything. Got into flyfishing this year again, hadn't flyfished much since I moved to Missouri 20 some years ago, and that occupies most of my fishing time.

Yea we Love the Little 12 foot holds couple adults and is stable,plus can throw it in back of the Pickup and go.

Ofcourse back in the Old days things were different.
