Ha, I love the signature too!

But Jeeez

I freaking hate it. It's the biggest form of disrespect that I have seen on this site, and there has been a lot of that lately. But that's fine, if Gotmuddy want to continue to act like an idiot, then who am I to stand in his way.

Are these just the items you had handy when trying to make your comparison?

Nope, just cut and paste....

Okay, so then tell me... Do you "catch" more fish by gigging/bowfishing from a canoe, kayak or jetboat?

That's what I thought.

You are the one who started with the whole "catch" definitions here, bud.

And yes, I believe you can catch a fish with a plastic bag, a pot or a pair of hemostats. Under correct circumstances you could catch a fish with just about anything dude.

I love how you jump to the conclusion that you are going to win. Because I do have a point.

And how do you know I'm not being original about my post?

What are you blathering on about?

Try "catching" a fish by any of those means in front of a conservation officer, see where it gets you...

And again, what does anything related to gigging/bowfishing have to do with the topic at hand?

Show of hands:

Who here has ever successfully gigged/bowfished from a canoe or kayak?

Dude....

If I were to "pot" a carp in front of them would they care? Naw, probably not cause it's just a trash fish. It's not real "game".

You said gigging/bowfishing wasn't "catching" a fish. I believe it is DUDE.

WRONG!

http://mdc.mo.gov/fishing/regulations/general-fishing-provisions/general-fishing-methods

"It also is illegal to attempt to take fish by hand"

But remember, that's not GOD talking, just the MDC.

You said gigging/bowfishing wasn't "catching" a fish. I believe it is DUDE.

It's the only version of "catching" fish that doesn't involve tricking it/allowing it to spring a trap you set.. (my personal opinion is that it isn't very sporting, but that neither here nor there, as it pertains to this discussion)

So, considering the topic of the thread, gigging/bowfishing is almost exclusively done from a johnboat or bigger, thus making it irrelevant to the discussion at hand.
