Walton Powell Rod For Sale

This is a fiberglass rod, 8.5' long, 2 piece rod with 2 tips included.

All sections are the same length and the grip shows just a slight discoloration from use.

Otherwise it is in excelent condition.

I would call it clay colored with green raps.

It says "The Walton Powell Rod, Chico Calif. Made in the USA.

Model No. DF85, Line 5-6-7.

Thats a neat looking rod, and its in great shape...The metal spigot ferrule is interesting, I havent seen that before, unfortunately I'm long on 5-7 wts at the moment....You have any bamboo rods? Fly, Casting, or Spinning? I might be interested in some of those. Gavin

Yes I have a Heddon Bluewater in very good condition and a Montaque that is a project rod.

Thanks...The project Monty doesnt interest me......but I'd take a gander at the #10 Heddon if its a 7.5' or 8'...possibly an a 8.5'..Dont know if we've met...but I'm not hard to find in STL..my office building is within eyesight of Tom Hargrove's fly shop on Manchester Rd.
