Tim Smith Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Concur with Al, although I couldn't confirm what kinds of backcrossing might have occurred. This fish was part of a "spot or not" quiz on the ISA boards a few years ago.
Gavin Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Spot/Smallie Hybrid, IMO....no doubt about it...never fished that Lake, but I caught some nice spots out of Perris Lake years ago.
Members Fredrick Posted December 27, 2010 Members Posted December 27, 2010 That's a mean mouth for sure. I am not a scientist but look at mean mouth(small mouth/ spot hybrids) that's a text book case . I find that a small mouth are the hardest fighting bass this combine with a spot I would love to catch . I lived on Indian point and my apartment manger was a fishing guide on table rock. He had caught a few of them in his day. jagermeister anyone?
