Eleven Point Fishing In The Middle Of January.

We left O'fallon, Mo in a snow storm on Friday arrived in Alton, Mo around 10:30pm. We met up with the owner of Eleven Point Canoe hoping we wern't keeping him up. He took us to our very nice and roomy cabin. This was our second time fishing the Eleven Point we were given great advise were to go. Caught plenty of rainbows using eggs, stoneflys, and wolly buggers. Cant beat the fishing or the hospitality.

Did you take them to the cabin we stayed in in 09, Brian?

No Phil, we just bought Cottage Overnight Lodging, which are the cottages in town. You stayed at another place when you were here.

Is that what used to be a motel or something different? Last time down to Alton back in the summer, we could not find a room anywhere in that town.

Gosh Brian... you're expanding. That's great. I've seen these houses online before. Rates are VERY reasonable. I'll try to come over and see you guys, bring Marsha, later this spring.

Good gosh Sloss, those houses look great! I know they aren't directly on the river, but those are cheaper than a crappy hotel room in the city. Everybody get to his lodging before he realizes what he has and starts charging outlandish rates like Sunburst Ranch.

Looks alot better than the motel in Alton, but it was better than tossing up a tent at 11 pm after a hard float on the upper river.
