Kelroy Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 My club is having a tournament out of Coffman on Saturday- I was wondering if any of the coves are frozen over yet? Heard of anybody catching anything at all?
fishinwrench Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Fish are being caught, and some "units" at that. Everyone I've talked to that has spent a day on the water lately has had at least one fish over 4 lbs. A good bite on heavy jigs are what I'm hearing about most, bites are in 12-18ft. Crappie are still doing good and a jerkbait bite is starting to develop on them. Ice may or may not be an issue above the Coffman area tomorrow, hard to say. Today it is clear to the mouth of Mill and possibly Indian, but Soap is locked in pretty good.
Kelroy Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 Great! Thanks for the input. Some of the boys are thinking we need to move to PB2 due to ice.
