Jeremy Rasnick Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Those are probably worth some money. Especially the ones Signed by Phil Lilley.
Gatorjet Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Very nice. It's such a shame we lost that beautiful artwork, and tradition to Technology! Real men go propless!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 20, 2011 Author Root Admin Posted January 20, 2011 I went on a buying binge a bunch of years ago and bought dozens of stamps on ebay. I should have bought and finished the MO trout stamp collection cause I see they're bringing $50 or more for a stamp now. I still think I have more stowed away someplace. I know I kept more of the strips. Wish I kept some of the stamp books - they'd be worth some money I bet.
jdmidwest Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 If you have a friend in the Postal industry, you can still get lick and stick Federal Duck Stamps. They don't stick to the yellow licenses worth a crap but it sure draws attention when you get checked. It is the little things in life that gives me amusement. The old trout stamps were alot sexier than the current line on the license that states "trout stamp"..... troutfiend1985 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 The old trout stamps were alot sexier than the current line on the license that states "trout stamp"..... I agree to that, too bad they're gone. Never did get one as they stopped making them before I was really fishing. “The greatest menace to freedom is an inert people” J. Brandeis
