gotmuddy Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 Why not just try wading? I've had some wonderful days fishing the Norfork with 0 generation. Greg I was hoping to catch a shad kill. It appears I missed it. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 No shad kill this year G. Taney had one going for while. BTW, I think they generate to make money off the electricity. Minimum flow hasn't been instituted yet. It's been approved though. SIO3
flytyer57 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 BTW, I think they generate to make money off the electricity. Minimum flow hasn't been instituted yet. It's been approved though. SIO3 Turning on the generators for an hour in the AM and again in the PM would actually cost them more money than they would make. They do it for D.O. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
flytyer57 Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 But DO isn't low. From what I've heard/read, it gets pretty low on the Norfork and that is why they keep turning it on, to keep the DO up. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I went and looked and the DO is gone from the graph. I would think this late in the year the lake has turned, like Tablerock and the DO would be fine. I have been wrong before though.. Once I think... SIO3
