eric1978 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I agree, fish is food. If anyone has a problem with that, too bad. Saying that, I don't keep any Largemouth over 15" or any Smallmouth at all. I also release unharmed immediatly any fish I'm releasing. Sometimes fish is food, and sometime fish is sport...depends on where you're fishing and what you're fishing for. Not all fish are created equal, and ocassionally their value as entertainment exceeds their value as protein.
Chief Grey Bear Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Chief- you and Stoneroller need to go have a cup of coffee together and then may be go fishing. You buy. You've been here longer. I'll go one better, the Spring Float will be coming in just about a month. He has the first invite to attend. And Stoneroller, he's not nearly as big of a PITA in person as he is on the foru...well, strike that. He's a real PITA, but a hell of a good guy. He just likes to ruffle feathers. Go fishing with him, you'll learn stuff.
flytyer57 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Man FT, you live right there. I wish I was that close. Pete Yes, I know. I've been a bit too depressed lately. Doing laundry today. I'm hoping I can get my gear ready tonight and head out tomorrow. Maybe the rain will hold off just long enough. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 19, 2011 Root Admin Posted February 19, 2011 Took me a bit to figure out PITA

jdmidwest Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Kum-ba-ya. Looks like we all just had a group hug. Is Phil giving an extra fish to someone in another boat in his new avatar or what. Thom Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Kum-ba-ya. Looks like we all just had a group hug. Is Phil giving an extra fish to someone in another boat in his new avatar or what. Kinda hard to tell...... Seems clear to me:PITA acronym--->> Phil is pointing to the guy about to run into his boat and pointing as he says: Point It That Away! Thom Harvengt
