Maybe it's sick, but I like watching fish kill stuff.

I like watching trout smash caddis or grasshoppers on top. I like watching browns pounce on hellgrammite or stonefly patterns from behind boulders. I like watching fish run down and kill zonkers or muddlers. I like watching white bass slash at crease flies. I like watching largemouth or smallies suck down sneaky petes. I like watching bluegills inspect foam spiders before nonchalantly pulling them under. Heck, I like drifting little parachutes ten feet below me on the Current just to watch a dozen shiners annihilate them. To me, the visual thrill of the take is the best part- it doesn't really matter how you achieve it.

OB, you're just sick!

I love watching a fish blow up on streamers or just slowly move across stream and intercept a bug. Both are pretty darn cool.

I like fishing at night in the summer when there is so much fog I don't have a clue where I am casting. It is fishing totaly by feel. When they hit it is pretty exciting.

All of the above...Can't pick just one, and to me, it just wouldn't be fishing if I didn't have the option of all of them.

I definately like the night fishing but my prefered method is a long leader with no indicator. Basically sight fishing with sow bugs and scuds. The thrill of watching a huge trout take your offering is similar to the huge brown chasing the streamer across the current. I prefer to land large fish on light tippet, so streamer fishing is not an option unless I change to 5x. Catching fish exactly the way each and every one of you prefer is the right approach. There is no right or wrong way as far as I am concerned. It has been said before, but I will say it again, the fly fishing members on this forum have a wealth of knowledge and experience that is second to none.

I'm a dry fly guy first, indicator guy second. You would think that by compromise that I would love a dropper rig, but I never really seem to do that well on it.

Give me an adams sz 18 and I'm happy. I also love hoppers. I love dry fly fishing whether for trout, bass or bluegill. I guess it was how I started fly fishing. Something about seeing the trout take it, and then setting the hook. Hard to describe. In all honesty, seeing a trout snub me probably gives me more of a rush, or at least something to complain about, which I like too.

Streamers just turn me on... after watching the fish in my avatar crash a zoo cougar it was in my blood. Hoppers rock too but big nasty streamers just make me all tingly.

Cute animals taste better.
