Around Masters area. with a rattle trap... Huckfinn, Thanks for the info. I usually fish Grand lake OK, and the spring river arm for the spring white bass run but this year i am wanting to work more of the missouri lakes. the oklahoma run usually starts around the end of FEB or the first of March, so was wanting to know if that is close to the same on stockton. Thanks again.
mrgungho Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Mini rattle trap is great for sure..but Here in about 5 degrees more water temp....go up into some bigger coves or pockets or up creek arms...this is the time to go as far as i am concerned. It is quite amazing action. "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."
straw hat Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I agree woth mrgungho. I fish the cc area a lot in the spring and usually start hitting the whites beginning during the first week of March. It is usually really good by the middle or end of March depending on weather. Welcome to the forum. I will look forward to your fishing reports!
Dutch Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Stockton and Pomme de terre being smaller bodies of water and more north tend to have a later migration than Bull Shoals and Table Rock. I have fished all ends of the lake and it is usually well into March before they show up for me and then only if we have rain with a good runoff.
mrgungho Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 On a side note I hear from some Forsythians that Slough Hollow is already getting some action "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."

Dutch Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 On a side note I hear from some Forsythians that Slough Hollow is already getting some action I'm thinking that would be bankbeaters because the lake is 7' down. There would be some tricky shoals trying to get up there.
