techo Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 We usually stay at Tylers Bend every year and love it but a few have new borns and wanted to check out cabins. Any suggestions? Thanks for info offered! Tim Carpenter
budman Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 You might check a Buffalo Point, they have several rustic cabins. You can also float from there, one upstream and one from there down stream. Buffalo Point is south of Yellville about 15 miles. We have camped there a few times and it is a nice park. It is also close to Crooked Creek, another nice smallmouth stream.

gotmuddy Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Stay away from the cabins owned by the shrew at gilbert general store. She was VERY unfriendly to us last year. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

Sounds like she made an impression! Appreciate the advice! I really like tent camping so the whole cabin thing is kind of icky for me. Tim Carpenter
