Trout Commander Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Not that I am in a position to buy, but is it on a trout holding stretch of Crane? I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
Dutch Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 How many acres and is there a well and electric????? I need to get out of St.Louis County bad, before they combine the city and the county!!!!!! There are 670 acres with 20 on one side of a road and 650 on the other. There are no buildings. It is loaded with turkey and deer. As for the trout part, I haven't fished the creek in many years so I have no idea if trout are there or not.
Outside Bend Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 You may also want to look and see if the state is interested... <{{{><

If it is, there's Trout in it.

RSBreth Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I thought there were trout above Crane too. At least I thought that is what I was catching. Most of the land above Crane is MDC property, not private, except for a tiny part where the big spring is at. Upstream from that there's very little water during dry periods. A piece of property a couple of miles up Crane from that spring wouldn't really be quiet as choice as one downstream from the town where the creek is bigger (and actually has water in it) now would it? Oh - and welcome to Ozarkanglers.com.
