Members abs988s Posted March 28, 2011 Members Posted March 28, 2011 Who would you guys trust in the Springfield area to rebuild a blown 200 Optimax? Any personal experiences would be nice, too. Thanks.
CaptainJoe Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Not in Springfield, but Branson West, I would recommend Ulrich Marine 272-1841. They do a great job. www.ulrichmarine.com Good luck! Members Clete Posted March 28, 2011 Members Posted March 28, 2011 I take my work to Tangaro Marine in Nixa.
Members flysnducks Posted March 28, 2011 Members Posted March 28, 2011 I would recomend Danny Vasquez, pm me if you need the number..
Sprint21fter Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 If you are not in any kind of a hurry to get it fixed try Boat World in Harrison, Ark and ask for Les and he does a great job.
Members abs988s Posted March 28, 2011 Author Members Posted March 28, 2011 Anybody work with Mike Binder? He works out a shop behind his house in Willard; used to work in Service at Center City before they went south.
Members mosebass Posted March 29, 2011 Members Posted March 29, 2011 Keith Eubanks. Tracked service center. Campbell street. Springfield Honest and knows Mercs Mose
Members Matt Henry Posted March 29, 2011 Members Posted March 29, 2011 I would ditto Captain Joe. I had a 2002 Mercury 225 that had 2 scared pistons rebuilt at Ulrich Marine. Price was reasonable. It has been two years and the motor is running great! Fred Ulrich mechanic Brian is one of the best in the area at rebuilding engines. Matt Henry
edwin Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I third the folks at Ulrich. Brian knows the Mercs inside and out...great folks. "Advantages are taken, not handed out"
