fished for white bass on friday

fished beaver creek in afternoon

fished river around forsyth in morning and tried swan creek but very shallow

one undersize largemouth is all we caught between two of us

on beaver creek saw one white caught and lots of boats

fished from about 7a to 6p

Thanks for the report. It really is good when ppl post reports even when you don't find fish.

I think it's going to take a few warm days- and nights- to bring the whites back into the creeks.

Is there a magic water temp mark where they really bite better? A couple of trips this year I've been pretty sure we were on a bunch of fish, but they just wouldn't bite very much.

I've never really worked out the details on White Bass too much because I was fishing them on the Sabine River and most of the time it just wasn't that hard. Lots and lots of fish and most of them were pretty darn big.

I do miss the Sabine River and Toledo Bend.

55 to 60, is generally when they start the rush. Of course you have to have some water coming down the creeks (or rivers.
