Last Night On The James

Fished last night and it was awesome water level is low but flow is good fish in the current swinging flies into slack water.

Moon set around 11:30 and that is when it turned on had 3 limits by 12:45am .

The 3 of us caught several nice sows.

T'was a good night indeed, with the exception of one broken fly rod (thank goodness for lifetime warranty). Sorry for the delayed picture....No pic no fish....so here's the fish...Heading back down tonight...See you on the water.

I'm surprized by the amount of night fishing done for White Bass. Lots of folks fish for White Bass in Louisiana where I learned to fish, but I've never heard of anyone fishing for them at night.

There really is not that many that know the night time is the right time, I have been fishing at night for years though. Less people means less pressure and I can fish my spots with out worrying about people fishing in my back pocket. A lot of nights we are the only people on the river. Give it a try you will be hooked.
