Al Agnew Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Your wrong, you're lack of education is showing, its "stupudist", that's it's correct spelling. Now if I could have just figured out how get "there", "their" and "they're" used wrong in that same sentence... Mitch, never joined the NEA. Was a member of the Missouri State Teachers' Association instead...kinda like a union without any teeth. They had a nice resort on the Jacks Fork, though. Streamers like Woolies won't always work, but you just about can't fish them too wrong when they do work. If the water is murky or it's a dark, cloudy day with some wind, a big streamer is always my default choice.

Outside Bend Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Now if I could have just figured out how get "there", "their" and "they're" used wrong in that same sentence... All the lies and lains and laids have always been my downfall <{{{><
Zach Bearden Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hey Al, why just during those certain times? I fish streamers all the time! If I can't catch crap on a nymph or dries I'll fish a streamer. I think we as fishermen are stuck to our normal times when we fish certain flies and only those flies. Streamers will catch fish with high sun and calm days. I know I'm guilty of it, but I'm trying to fish things outside the box. It's not always the fact that it's a streamer! It could just be the fact that ONE little detail is wrong. The gold bead could be putting them off. I know I was fishing streamers one day and I was catching quite a few fish on a rubber legged thing. Well, I ended up losing it. I had another fly that was close, but without the rubber legs. I only picked up two or three the rest of the day. Fish are crazy "Its clearly Bree time baby!" Hey hot shot, you're wrong, Stupidest is the correct spelling, I guess being in the Missouri state teachers association didn't help you either. But since I like you I don't care. BTW, it should be "You're" wrong as Zach says "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

troutfiend1985 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Boy, where is someone with the semantics card? You guys think that I'm crazy about language, now we're getting into arguments on spelling. Geez guys. Anyways, appreciated the tip about the buggers(or is it boogers ) but I think I'll wait until another issue/topic/thread is posted, maybe I'll start one here in a minute on how do you fish your buggers just to get something else on the board. Bottom line you can take out of this whole "bias" thing, is that it shouldn't be too big of a deal. If people are calling each other names, then of course the plug should be pulled. Mitch I think you should sit down, have a coffee and talk to Lilley one day. It would be a good thing. “The greatest menace to freedom is an inert people” J. Brandeis
