ollie Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Cricket, I don't know about others, but "managed" is the wrong word! You should see Hickory on July 5th, doesn't look like we ever existed! Pm me with your contact info and I will put you in touch with Andrew. He is the go to person in this region for Stream Teams. Anyone can adopt a stretch of stream and more than one person or group can do this. The Audubon center out of south Joplin formed an Association not long ago. They are also good people to talk to. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

jdmidwest Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 I would suggest you make contact with some of the landowners along the stream, maybe they will help too. Locally, one of them even offered to haul off the trash we collected on the Castor River a few weeks back.
