Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 25, 2011 Root Admin Posted April 25, 2011 Duane just sent this to me. Said it was over close to Chateau and headed west- our way. Said there were other funnels they could see in the area. Nothing going on here as far as wind...
Members pbd Posted April 25, 2011 Members Posted April 25, 2011 Could that be a very HEAVY RAIN column?
rangerman Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Wow!...That is a good one. The one that hit Bridgeton up here was a classified F4. Lots of damage. Kind of scary that just about every thunderstorm wehad this year has hail and a tornado with it.
gitnby Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Could that be a very HEAVY RAIN column? I'm no expert, but tornadoes usually have a "tail", don't they?
duckydoty Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 We watched it spin for about 45 seconds then split in to two vortexes and then go back up into the wall cloud. When it split, it had two tails. I'm no expert either, just wanted to give Phil a little warning just in case. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
