flytyer57 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 It looks like the gage for Crooked Creek is up and running again for those interested in fishing CC. Crooked Creek Gage @ Kelly's Slab There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Ham Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Crossed over CC in Harrison and at Pyatt Thursday. It was still high and MUDDY at Pyatt, but it was closer to normal and only stained in Harrison. It won't necessarily be too long before it gets fishable, but it wasn't last Thursday. There are at least three spots on the Pyatt to Snow run that would be real sporty at the current level/CFS. I was gonna take a run over to the slab today to get some pics, but it started raining again. I imagine a ride over the slab in this high water would be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I wouldn't want to make the Sheriffs High Water Rescue Team come looking for my sorry carcass down stream somewhere. Ham Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I'd want a little warmer water and a good look at it first BEFORE I tried to run it, but I bet that part would be OK at this water level. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
joeD Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I've never seen "FL" on any gauge. With Kelly slab gone, can the readings there be interpreted the same? Above Pyatt specifically.

I don't think there will be much difference from the slab to Pyatt with the slab missing. It didn't back up that much. The only real difference will be just above the slab.
